Mission

Every mamma has a story waiting to be written—a blank page just waiting to be filled. My passion is helping you fill those pages with a story you can look back on with pride. Every mother deserves compassionate, knowledgeable, and genuine support during one of the most beautiful, difficult, and forever rewarding seasons of life.

It is such an honor to serve mothers during this sacred time and to become a small part of a story that will be forever engraved upon her heart. As a doula, I provide emotional, physical, and informational support so that you can step into your labor and birth with confidence, feeling informed, encouraged, and supported every step of the way.

Impact

I love being a birth doula. I never know if I’ll be driving off into the sunrise or into the sunset, but I always know I will witness a miracle. Every birth brings not only a baby into the world, but also a mother who discovers more God-given strength within herself than she ever thought possible.

Every birth is like a snowflake—beautiful and completely unique. As a doula I strive to educate and absolutely support informed decision making. Birth is not one-size-fits-all, and no matter how you choose to bring your baby into the world, I would love to support you.

Whether your birth is vaginal or through means of cesarean, medicated or unmedicated, you can count on my support. Maybe you’re planning a home birth, looking forward to delivering in a hospital, or have always dreamed of welcoming your baby earthside in a birth center. Whatever your journey looks like, I would be honored to walk alongside you through it.

Blessings to you mamma,

I pray that you find strength in knowing that the Lord has a plan for you, that you don’t have to be perfect to be loved, and that He has and will continue to provide for YOU no matter what life brings. His PROVIDENCE is sufficient!

“Birth is a natural process that occasionally needs medical intervention, not a medical intervention that occasionally occurs naturally.” -The VBAC Link

For my first baby, I didn’t want anyone in the delivery room besides my husband. I assumed the nurses would guide us through everything, but my labor ended up feeling stressful and chaotic, and my husband felt helpless.

When Abbie asked if she could attend my second birth, I was hesitant. I still wanted my husband to be my primary support person. Looking back, having Abbie with us was one of the greatest gifts of that experience.

Before labor, Abbie met with me several times to explain her role, set expectations, and listen to the concerns I carried from my first birth. During labor, she stayed by our side the entire time. Unlike the nurses, whose attention had to be divided, we were her sole focus. She transformed the hospital room into a calm, comforting space with soft lighting and calming music. As labor progressed, she guided me through breathing techniques, natural pain relief methods, and positions to help labor progress.

Most importantly, Abbie empowered my husband with the tools and confidence to support me well, while still keeping the experience centered on us as a couple. Her calm presence, gentle voice, and steady advocacy completely transformed my labor experience into something peaceful, beautiful, and empowering. Because of her support, I was able to achieve the calm, fully unmedicated birth I had hoped for. I will always be grateful for the care she gave our family.

“I want to start by saying Abbie is wonderful! Soon after I found out I was pregnant for the first time, I contacted a doula that ended up being unavailable around my due date, but she recommended reaching out to Abbie. I was a little apprehensive, but right from the start, Abbie made me feel supported and cared for. I really enjoyed meeting her at the initial consult – she was honest with me in her responses to my questions and very sweet. Throughout my pregnancy, she would text me to see how I was doing and send helpful tips and videos for each stage based on the concerns I shared with her. She would share in excitement with me reaching milestones as well! I also appreciated how thorough she was in going over a birth plan with my husband and me.

Once I was in early labor, she kept in contact to check in frequently. She arrived at the hospital within the timeframe she communicated. Even though labor was chaotic and many things did not go as planned, she was by my side and made sure I felt supported, as comfortable as possible, and okay with the decisions being made. She advocated for me based on my birth plan and respectfully worked with the nurses and staff. I also loved that she took photos of the birth, since my husband was busy helping during the pushing phase.

I opted to schedule a postpartum visit with her, and she asked how I was doing, asked for feedback to help her grow, and she even brought me a gift! Abbie is a genuine, kind, honest, respectful, and supportive person who I would absolutely recommend. She helped give me the strength to bring my beautiful baby boy into this world. I’m so glad I had the opportunity to have her a part of my pregnancy and labor journey!
